DIY Christmas Sugar Cookies
This winter I took a fun and inspirational cookie decorating class and got hooked on decorating SUGAR cookies. I always have found making sugar cookies a little bit intimidating, but I thought it would be fun to learn how to decorate them. I love all the color & inspiration and it became a fun family pastime during the holidays. I did a lot of experimenting with different recipes for the perfect recipe for royal icing. I was most successful with cookies that I decorated a day after I baked them. We bundled up many fun treats over the holidays and I think it will be a fun hobby that we continue to explore in the future.
